Cool Search Tool Examines Top Relationships

Okay, I found this cool tool myself. Did I say cool? That word doesn't do it justice. It is powerfully cool!

I must have accidentally clicked something to bring me there, and I am glad for the happy accident, because I found a keeper. Check out this search engine--it is so much more than a search engine. Enter a famous person's name (politician, author, CEO) and it shows relationships to other people, businesses, places, or things.

Enter a business name and you can find if it has a relationship with, say Russia. I found Schlumberger by way of Halliburton and noticed recent commentary by investment gurus about the company(1 hour ago) .

The more I examined the information the clearer it became to me that this is a powerful way to harness Web info.

Now You Too Can Be a Spy! Self-destructing Messages

Have you ever wanted to send an email that you never wanted to be forwarded? Well, you probably shouldn't be sending it at all.

But sometimes there are special occasions. Now, there is a self-destructing note that I'm sure Karl Rove has already glommed onto. (Sorry, it's in my bloodstream. It will take time to detox from this election.)

It seems to be a free service. Check it out:

Eating to Boost Your Brainpower

Strengthen the links between your diet and your brain

By Nancy Christie

Eat well, think well: It turns out that the Romans were definitely on the right track with their famous saying "mens sana in corpore sano" (a healthy mind in a healthy body). Athletes have followed this dictum for centuries, and today scientists are finding that if you keep your body supplied with a wide assortment of healthy foods and nutrients, it may indeed enhance your ability to maintain that "healthy mind" as you age.

My Best Intentions

As many of you know, I enjoy being active on Digg.com. I surf the incoming new Diggs and check out the breaking news stories. Being on Digg exposes me to a lot of other interesting sites and stories. Man, I love people, I love the internet for bringing us together! Thanks, Al! ;-)

My intention for this blog is to post stories that make our lives easier. I am starting blog for my friends and family and people who share my enthusiasm for these things. (I'm being vague on purpose, leaving the categories wide open to see where this blog takes us.)

Also, as many of you know, I have a blog where I post notable stories and videos with a goal of exposing the corruption, fraud, fascism, cronyism and incompetence of the current American regime. You won't find that information here--frankly, I am hoping that the next president will bring the US back from this pit where we find ourselves on 10-11-2008. But enough about the pit.

Another reason I am starting this "great, cool stuff" blog is so that I can reside in a more spiritually positive space. I have spent too much time reading about the dark exploits of our government, and it has affected my health, knowing too much.
